Try the theme
You can try Clean Art for free before you buy: on the Coming soon to the Shopify Theme Store select Try theme. The theme is added to your store as an unpublished theme, and you can customize it fully. You pay only when you publish it.
Install
- Open the Coming soon to the Shopify Theme Store on the Shopify Theme Store.
- Choose a preset (Clean Art, Nocturne or Pigment). You can switch later, see Choose a preset.
- Select Try theme or Buy theme. The theme appears in Online Store > Themes under Theme library.
- Select Customize to open the theme editor.
- When you are ready, select Publish.
Before you publish
- Replace the demo images and text in each section.
- Set your logo in Theme settings > Logo and favicon. With no logo image, your store name shows as a text logo.
- Follow the launch checklist.
Update to a new version
Theme Store themes update through Shopify:
- Open Online Store > Themes. When a new version is available, the theme shows Update available.
- Select View update, then Add to theme library. Shopify creates an updated copy and carries over your settings, sections and text.
- Preview the copy, check your key pages, then publish it.
Edits you made to the theme code are not carried over. Keep a list of any code changes so you can reapply them. See the changelog for what each version changes.
Duplicate before big changes
Before large changes, select ... > Duplicate on the theme. The copy is your backup.
